CBS Legal Drama Reckless Ordered to Series

Great news! Legal drama Reckless, Cam has the main role in, has just been ordered to series! It is executive produced by the likes of Twilight’s Catherine Hardwicke and Safe Haven’s Dana Stevens. Reckless tells the story of a gorgeous Yankee litigator and a Southern city attorney, who struggle to hide their attraction while clashing over a police sex scandal that threatens to implode the city. The show also features Adam Rodriguez, Kim Wayans, Shawn Hatosy, and Anna Wood.
CBS Is set to reveal its 2013-2014 schedule on Wednesday, May 15th.

‘Free Ride’ Gets Picked Up

Cargo Entertainment has acquired international rights to Free Ride, a Shana Betz-directed crime thriller that stars Anna Paquin and Twilight Saga‘s Cam Gigandet, Deadline reports.

Movie based on director’s Betz life story is following True Blood star Anna Paquin, who plays a single mom who moves to Florida with her daughters to try and make a better life but gets caught up in the drug-trade business in the late 1970s. Cam is going to play Paquin’s love interest.

Cam to Star in CBS Legal Drama ‘Reckless’

Easy A and The O.C. alum Cam Gigandet has been tapped to star in the network’s drama pilot Reckless, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The sultry legal show is set in Charleston, S.C., where a gorgeous Yankee litigator and a Southern city attorney struggle to hide their intense attraction while clashing over a police sex scandal.

Gigandet will play Roy, the city attorney. He’s described as a liberal Renaissance man and father of two. His wife, Scottie, recently left him for a Florida developer and has taken their two children with him. He surfs and loves skateboarding and hip-hop but also fishes, hunts and collects guns.
